Notes from inside the work.

Most of what you see online is not for you.
It is for machines, dashboards, and internal reports.

Traffic is inflated.
Engagement is simulated.
Certainty is manufactured.

Human attention still exists.
It is just buried under noise.

Translations

"Make it pop"

Usually said when clarity is missing.

Translation: Make it bigger.

"Let's circle back"

Used when no decision can be made safely.

Translation: No.

"We need to be agile"

Often a cover for lack of planning.

Translation: We'll figure it out later.

"Does it scale?"

Asked before the first unit is sold.

Translation: We are afraid to start small.

All jokes aside — good marketing is just good decisions, made consistently.

What Still Works

Clear funnels.

Fewer messages.

Real language.

Patient execution.

Teams that can say "this is not working."

If you are seeing the same things, we should probably talk.
